Safety: looking after yourself and your family

Most people are genuine. Still, keep these points in mind.

Never send money

• If anyone asks for money in the name of an "emergency", "customs fee", "visa fee" or "investment", report them right away.
• Never share your OTP, UPI PIN or bank details. The RaikaNU team will never ask for them either.

Build trust slowly

• Talk in RaikaNU chat first. Share your number only once you trust the person.
• Look for verified badges: phone, photo and social.
• Talk on a video call to make sure the person is the one in the photos.

The first meeting

• Choose a public place: a cafe, a mall or a temple complex.
• Tell family or a friend where you are going and with whom.
• Travel in your own vehicle or a cab.

Any demand for money or goods

If anyone asks for money, goods or any other transaction in connection with the marriage, report the profile. We close such accounts.
